GIFT VOUCHER TERMS

AND CONDITIONS

Thank you for considering one of our EV Driving Experience Gift Vouchers. We want to ensure that the recipient gets maximum enjoyment out of their time in our car, so we ask you to read the terms and conditions thoroughly before making your purchase. All vouchers are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase, and aren’t transferable. Although we will do everything we can to accommodate your dates, we cannot guarantee your dates will be available, and may offer you an exchange or vehicle or an upgrade. Dates cannot be booked more than 4 weeks in advance, and will be confirmed 2 weeks prior to the hire starting. Upon collection of the vehicle from Volt-Age, anyone deemed to be under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs will be denied access to the vehicle, and their experience cancelled. Included

The purchase of our Gift Voucher includes

• The hire of our car for the specified duration

• Our standard insurance for up to 2 drivers

• Collection of the vehicle from, and returning it to, our head office in Portsmouth. 

• Our expertise in planning journeys and explaining the charging infrastructure throughout the UK.

• 100 Miles per day allowance (Mileage charges may apply over this limit)

Not Included

The purchase of our Gift Voucher excludes 

• A security deposit of £1000 that is taken prior to the rental starting.(£500 if CDW is purchased)

• CDW or Collision Damage Waiver, which is an optional daily extra to reduce the insurance excess to £500.

• Taking the vehicle outside of mainland UK. This can be arranged for an additional charge.

• Delivery and Collection fees, which can be arranged at cost.

• Charging costs. The vehicle will be supplied full of charge, and needs to be returned with at least 50% charge. A surcharge of £50 will be charged if returned less than 50%.

Refunds

We strongly advise you to ensure you have read our refund terms below.

• We are unable to offer refunds for any Gift Vouchers which have not been used, regardless of reason, and have passed their expiry date. All vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase.  

• Gift Voucher expiry dates cannot be extended, nor exchanged for another experience, and no refunds will be issued if you’re unable to use the voucher.

• If the recipient doesn’t meet our insurance requirements, or any other of our terms and conditions, no refund will be issued. If in doubt, please contact us prior to booking to check eligibility.
